A couple of quick stories heading into tonight's matchup between the Rangers and Devils:
- The Rangers and Devils renew their rivalry tonight, and oh yeah, Sean Avery and Martin Brodeur don't really like each other.
- Michal Rozsival could play tonight, is that good or bad?
- The Rangers and John Tortorella are feeling the playoff heat.
- Facing the Rangers and Avery might be just what the struggling Devils need.
- In Lou We Trust has a game preview for tonight.
- Blair Betts is the Rangers' Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy candidate.
What else can be said about tonight? The Rangers are in 7th place, 1 point ahead of the Habs, 2 points ahead of the Panthers. Montreal hosts Chicago tonight, and the Panthers are home for the Senators. The Rangers could find themselves tied for 8th place tomorrow morning. Just a few days ago, 4th place seemed well within reach. Now, we are praying for the 8th and 9th teams to lose.
