2013 NHL Playoffs: Rangers Recall Ten Players From Connecticut For Taxi Squad

The New York Rangers announced this afternoon that ten players have been recalled from the Connecticut Whale of the American Hockey League. There will be six forwards, two defensemen, and two goaltenders that will be on the taxi squad for the Rangers playoff push. They are as follows:

Forwards (6): Ryan Bourque, Micheal Haley, Brandon Mashinter, J.T. Miller, Brandon Segal, Christian Thomas.
Defense (2): Stu Bickel, Dylan McIlrath
Goaltenders (2): Jason Missiaen, Cameron Talbot

All of these players will practice separate from the Rangers, but will keep in shape in the event that they need to step into the lineup for a playoff game. Of the ten players that were recalled, only Micheal Haley will make the trip to Washington, and practice with the Rangers. That is likely due to the fact that Brian Boyle, and Ryane Clowe are still out with nagging injuries.

The official press release will be below.
