Rangers Vs. Hurricanes Preview: Bring On Carolina
Lundqvist, Rangers Blank Sabres; Ryan Callahan Injury Update

Complete Coverage >

The New York Rangers will meet up with the Carolina Hurricanes as Metropolitan rivals for the first time this season tonight at Madison Square Garden. The Rangers are coming off of four solid games, which includes winning three of their last four, while the Hurricanes have lost four straight games coming into tonight. The Hurricanes will also be without both of their goaltenders as Cam Ward, and Anton Khudobin are battling injuries.

That will leave Justin Peters as the man in between the pipes tonight, while Henrik Lundqvist appears in his second straight game for the Rangers. The Rangers are expected to roll with the same lineup as Thursday, which leaves Chris Kreider, Brad Richards, and Benoit Pouliot as the top line.

It's no surprise that Chris Kreider has been the Rangers best player over the last three games, as he's playing with an immense amount of confidence. He's scored twice in his last two games, and doesn't appear to be slowing down anytime soon. I expect another big game from CK20 tonight.
