The New York Rangers are in search of their second straight win tonight, along with two more huge points in the standings tonight against the Buffalo Sabres. The Sabres on the other hand, can't afford to a loss in regulation otherwise they will be mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. Tonight will be a big game either way, and the Rangrs need to carry over the momentum that they gained late in the third period last night.

Derick Brassard has been on fire ever since he stepped foot on Madison Square Garden ice. He came away with two goals last night to bring his point totals to nine points in his last eight games. He's been a big contributor to the offense, and he needs to keep that rolling tonight.
