2013 Traverse City Tournament: Rangers Will Live Stream Traverse City Games

New, comments

Even though MSG will not be airing the games on television, there will be a live stream to watch some of the Rangers up and coming prospects.

According to the Traverse City events Facebook page, the New York Rangers will be providing their fans with a live internet stream of their games from the Traverse City Prospect Tournament. This news comes a few days after John Giannone shot down the possibility of the Madison Square Garden Network covering the event this year. Instead, MSG will be focused on bringing fans exclusive coverage during training camp, and all of the Rangers upcoming preseason games.

The Rangers are the only team participating in the tournament that has yet to release their official roster, which is expected to come out in the next few days. Some names including Thomas Spelling (via Alex Nunn), Jimmy Oligny (via Rene Levesque) and Josh Graves (via Premier Hockey) have begun to leak via Twitter. But aside from that, we have no official confirmation about anyone else included on the roster.

The Rangers schedule for the tournament is as follows:

Thursday, September 5:
3:30 PM - New York Rangers vs. Carolina Hurricanes

Friday, September 6:
4:00 PM - Buffalo Sabres vs New York Rangers

Sunday, September 8:
6:30 PM - Columbus Blue Jackets vs New York Rangers

We will also have open game threads running during every game with information on how to access the live stream. Be sure to stop by!
