Another day, another game for the Rangers in their busy November schedule. Also, as New York hosts the Avalanche tonight, the Blueshirts are expecting yet another player to return to action, which we'll get to in a bit. And now, your morning notes.
Dan Boyle is expected to play Thursday night versus Colorado in what would be his first action since he broke his hand in the season opener against the Blues. [NY Post] [Ranger Rants] [Newsday] If Boyle does return, it will mark the first time the Rangers have had five of their six regular defensemen in the lineup since October 27 against the Wild.
Henrik Lundqvist appears to be rounding into his usual form, a welcome sign for the Rangers. [NY Post]
Anthony Duclair started the regular season as a regular in the lineup, and then was a healthy scratch. After making his way back into the top 12, Duclair was scratched Monday night against the Penguins. It's been an on-again, off-again start to the 19-year-old's pro career. [NY Post]
