Well...that was a frustrating Saturday night tilt, eh?
The Rangers seemingly won a game they were soundly outplayed in when Dan Boyle scored in a shootout against the Penguins on Saturday. That is, until Dan Boyle's goal was called back because he double-tapped the puck. Everyone had to jump back on the benches, and Evgeni Malkin and company were grinning. They were more than emotionally invested and, of course, the Penguins managed to score on their next opportunity. Fleury stoned Rick Nash to win the game.

So we move on. Tonight is a big reunion game. Those, like myself, who have a soft spot for guys like the Swedish God of Corsi Anton Stralman, #grit personified Ryan Callahan, and big Brian Boyle aren't relishing a game against the formidable
Rangers South Tampa Bay Lightning. But I am sure a great many of us will use it as a chance to rub it in if things don't go the Rangers' way. To me, it's just going to be bittersweet and strange.

Dan Girardi says it is "going to be different" going up against former captain Cally. Yep. It is.[Newsday]
Mats Zuccarello is concerned about his perceived lack of production, but nobody else should be. He has been playing great, and the points will come in bunches. What is concerning, is his impending free agency. Can the Rangers afford him? Let's hope so. [New York Post]
