The Rangers wrapped up round robin play at the Traverse City Tournament last night, falling to the Carolina Hurricanes 3-2 in overtime. All three of New York's games at the tournament have gone to overtime, with team dropping two of them. In last night's tilt, Ryan Haggerty converted his second goal of the tournament, this one coming on the power play. Nickolas Latta scored the other Rangers goal, while Brandon Halverson made 32 saves in what sounded like a strong performance. The Rangers' prospects will get one more game on Tuesday against the Minnesota Wild to determine fifth place. And now, your morning notes.
