It's been difficult of late to really determine who's the better prospect between Anthony Duclair and Pavel Buchnevich, mostly because the former has been largely out of game situations, while the latter is making a mockery of the KHL.
Boy, did we miss you, Duclair highlights.
The 19-year-old offensive dynamo is participating in his first career professional game (albeit a preseason game) on Friday night in Chicago. And skating on a line with Rick Nash and Derick Brassard, Duclair didn't take long to pot his first pro goal.
While Duclair made an excellent play driving to the net hard with his stick on the ice, what a saucer pass by Nash to finagle the puck into that tight space. Duclair has been very clear in what his objective is in camp: to make the team. If he continues to produce, he's going to force management to at the very least keep the name in the conversation.
