2015 NHL Playoffs: 4/17 Open Thread

Your playoff hockey open thread for Friday night!

Tonight we have four playoff games on the docket to talk about in our playoff hockey open thread.

7:00 PM Senators at Canadiens (Canadiens 1-0)

7:00 PM Islanders at Capitals (Isles 1-0)

9:30 PM Blackhawks at Predators (Hawks 1-0)

10:00 PM Flames at Canucks (Flames 1-0)

How about those Calgary Flames, huh? We're just our third day into the 2015 NHL Playoffs and we've already had all kinds of shenanigans and memorable moments happen. Duncan Keith's double overtime game winner, P.K. Subban's slashing major and game misconduct, Mark Stone's micro-fracture, the late goal by the Flames to steal Game One before it headed into overtime, and the Islanders surprising the Capitals by taking Game One on the road.

Hopefully tonight we'll have plenty more memorable moments but, y'know, hopefully with less people getting hurt and all that jazz. Enjoy tonight's playoff hockey, guys and gals. Sorry for the open thread being put up a little bit late!

What is your game to watch tonight? What has been the biggest surprise of the 2015 Playoffs thus far? Are any of you adopting any other teams during the playoffs to cheer for when the Rangers aren't on the ice? Let me know in the comments section.

Let's go hockey. Let's go Rangers!
