2015 Playoffs Game Threads: Game 7 of the Western Conference Final

So, will it be the Blackhawks or the Ducks that meet the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Cup Final?

Anaheim Calling | Second City Hockey

Tonight we will learn who will meet the Tampa Bay Lightning in the seven game series that determines who wins the Stanley Cup. The Blackhawks will need to find a way to win on the road for the first time in the series to get into the Final where they have already proven that they have what it takes to be champions twice since 2010.

The Anaheim Ducks, who have been very impressive this postseason, have to find a way to play a complete game and do whatever they can to send Chicago into an early offseason where the Blackhawks will have to figure out how the hell to stay under the salary cap.

Both of these Western Conference powerhouses are deserving of being in the Final this year, but, much like in the Highlander mythos, there can only be one. That was far too many commas, wasn't it? Would you believe I actually removed two of them from that sentence from what I wrote the first time around?

The puck drops for Game 7 of the Western Conference Final tonight sometime after 8:00 PM EST. Please use this as your open thread to enjoy the game with your fellow Rangers fans, talk about barbequing tips and recipes, breakdown your favorite five television shows of all time, or discuss at length the sociological and philosophical ramifications of what humankind will do when we finally encounter extraterrestrial life.

I hope that you all have found a way to enjoy the first day of the 2015 Rangers offseason. Try and enjoy tonight's game, buddies. Let's go hockey. I hate Cory Perry.
