Open Game Thread: Lightning vs Rangers

After losing to Carolina on Friday, the Rangers will get the chance to get back on the right track against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Tampa Bay is coming off a 3-1 loss to New Jersey last night, so look for the Rangers to get the jump on the Bolts early. New York's lines are as follows:

Jimmy Vesey-Derek Stepan-Rick Nash

Pavel Buchnevich-Mika Zibanejad-Mats Zuccarello

Michael Grabner-Kevin Hayes-J.T. Miller

Brandon Pirri-Oscar Lindberg-Jesper Fast

------------------------------------------

Ryan McDonagh-Dan Girardi

Marc Staal-Nick Holden

Brady Skjei-Kevin Klein

-------------------------------------------

Antti Raanta

Player to watch: With his rough start being one of the main negatives about the Rangers first couple of weeks to start the season, Nick Holden has been moved down to play with Marc Staal. He'll remain on the right side, which could be a part of Holden's rough start, but Alain Vigneault decided it's best to play him on his offside, as opposed to natural righty Adam Clendening.

Prediction: Pavel Buchnevich scores his first NHL goal, and helps lead the Rangers to a 2-0 victory.

Enjoy the game!
