Rangers vs. Blackhawks Open Game Thread

The Rangers begin their road trip with a stop in the Windy City.

The New York Rangers (3-5-1, seven points) will take on the Chicago Blackhawks (5-2-2, 12 points) at the United Center in Chicago in search of their first victory away from Madison Square Garden this season. Tonight is the first stop of a four-game road trip that will end in California. The Blueshirts are fresh off a 5-2 victory against the Florida Panthers, and the Blackhawks are coming off a 3-1 victory over the Anaheim Ducks.

Last season the Blueshirts faced the Blackhawks twice, and the team lost 6-3 on November 15 and 5-2 on January 3. Henrik Lundqvist was in goal for both of those games.
