Magnus Hellberg Recalled on Emergency Basis, Raanta Starting Tonight
Henrik Lundqvist is out with neck spasms.
Marc Staal, who missed last night's game in Pittsburgh with the flu, will likely be in the lineup tonight against the best team in the Metropolitan Division: the Washington Capitals. The other big change with the Rangers' roster is that Magnus Hellberg has been recalled from the AHL to serve as the backup goaltender to Antti Raanta tonight in Washington.

Raanta, as expected, will get the start with Henrik Lundqvist out of commission. Lundqvist left last night's game during the second intermission after a collision with team captain Ryan McDonagh. It turned out that Lundqvist was having neck spasms and it is because of those same neck spasms that the Rangers are playing things safe and bringing up Hellberg.
Meanwhile, Marc-Andre Fleury called Lundqvist's infamous push of the hockey net to stop play "baby stuff."
