Ryan McDonagh Out Indefinitely With "Upper Body Injury"

Ryan McDonagh's injury will keep him out of the final three regular season games.

The New York Rangers have officially announced Ryan McDonagh will be out indefinitely with an upper body injury. This, of course, is in relation to the shot he blocked with his hand in the win over Columbus on Monday.

The Rangers have confirmed he won't play in any of the remaining games this year, and have already recalled Brady Skjei as of this morning.

I would say it's a pretty fair assumption that McDonagh is going to miss some playoff time, although how much (if any) has yet to be determined. The injury has not been disclosed but Hockey Stat Miner hear via a source that the injury is a fracture in his wrist.

More when we get it.
