New York Rangers @ Chicago Blackhawks: Going for Seven

The Rangers and Blackhawks face off tonight to rekindle their storied "rivalry"

The New York Rangers and Chicago Blackhawks face off tonight in Chicago under the bright lights of a national broadcast.

The Rangers are going for their seventh consecutive victory and so Alain Vigneault is keeping together the winning formula. This means Steve Kampfer and Nick Holden remain in the lineup and Brendan Smith gets to continue his tour of the various press boxes around the league.

The Blackhawks are an empire on the decline and are trying to get a bit of the old magic back after trading for Brandon Saad and signing Patrick Sharp in the offseason. Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews are still there and Corey Crawford will be between the pipes tonight.

Another night with Doc Emerick, Mike Millbury, and Pierre McGuire on the call so buckle up for that folks.

Enjoy the game and be nice to each other.
