Rangers Vs. Canadiens 2017 Playoff Schedule

The official playoff schedule for the first round has been announced. The dates are below with Rangers home games in bold:

Game 1: Wednesday, April 12th at 7 p.m.
Game 2: Friday, April 14th at 7 p.m.
Game 3: Sunday, April 16th at 7 p.m.
Game 4: Tuesday, April 18th at 7 p.m.
Game 5: Thursday, April 20th time TBD
Game 6: Saturday, April 22nd time TBD
Game 7: Monday, April 24th time TBD

Obviously games 5-7 are “if necessary” which is why there’s no time stamp on them yet.

Per the NHL’s official release, both Rangers home games will be broadcast on NBCSN. If the Rangers hold to past TV strategies, MSG Networks will do a pre and a post-show even when MSG does not carry the games (beyond the first round). MSG will have the first round, but the other rounds (if the Rangers get out) will be on the NBC family of networks.

(To clarify, if you live in New York Games 3 and 4 will still be on MSG. For those of you out-of-market fans those games will be on NBCSN. In the New York market those games will be blacked out on NBCSN and only available on MSG.)
