Game Thread 4/2: Rangers vs Flyers

New, comments

Glass and Vesey back in and Buch is sitting.

Tonight the Rangers play the Philadelphia Flyers - the team that beat them in the Michael Vecchione sweepstakes earlier this week.

That might explain why Tanner Glass is back in the lineup for the Blueshirts. Okay, that's a bit of a stretch.

The Flyers are out of the playoff picture but they've been playing hungry. On a more serious note, goaltender Michal Neuvirth collapsed during a game yesterday and spent the night in the hospital. Thankfully he was released earlier today.

After tonight's game the Rangers will play their penultimate road game of the season in Washington against the Capitals on Wednesday. This is the Rangers last regular season home game before the season finale against Pittsburgh on Apr. 9th.

The other team: Broad Street Hockey

The Rangers home record: 19-16-4

The Flyers road record: It's bad.

The Rangers record in the last 10 games: 3-3-4

The Flyers record in the last 10 games: 7-3-0

Tonight's tasty jam: Fly - Sugar Ray
