The Rebuild Begins: Rangers Trade For Hubert Labrie

This is the news everyone’s been waiting for; The New York Rangers, a day after announcing themselves as sellers, have made a trade and with a division rival no less.

OFFICIAL: #NYR have acquired forward John Albert and defenseman Hubert Labrie from the Washington Capitals in exchange for Adam Chapie and Joe Whitney.

The Rangers trade two forwards from Hartford, Adam Chapie (the Wolf Pack’s captain) and Joe Whitney, to Washington for forward John Albert and defenseman, and incredible name haver, Hubert Labrie.
