Rangers Assign Tony DeAngelo, Peter Holland and Vinni Lettieri to Hartford
The Rangers are off until Thursday February 1 due to NHL All-Star break.
The New York Rangers have assigned Tony DeAngelo, Peter Holland and Vinni Lettieri to the Hartford Wolf Pack.

This is presumably because the Rangers are off until Thursday February 1 because of the NHL All-Star break. Hartford however has a game tonight at 7:15 p.m. vs. the Charlotte Checkers at home, and the two teams will also face off at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday January 27.
It is likely that the Rangers will recall the trio when the break concludes ahead of a home game vs. the Toronto Maple Leafs coming out of the break.
