Holland and DeAngelo recalled, McLeod replaces Lettieri

Lettieri stays in the minors.

With the bye week coming to a close the Rangers have recalled Tony DeAngelo and Peter Holland from the Hartford Wolf Pack. However, the front office has elected to keep Vinni Lettieri in the AHL. Cody McLeod will now either draw into the lineup or be the team’s 13th forward.

The good news for Lettieri is that staying in Hartford means more ice time and playing in a bigger role. The Minnesota native had four points in 10 games in his time up with the Rangers. Lettieri’s return is also good news for the Wolf Pack. He is the team’s leading goal scorer and scored a goal in his first game back in the AHL on January 27.

McLeod hasn’t skated in an NHL game since January 2. He has one goal, one assist, and 72 penalty minutes this season.
