Open Thread: Stanley Cup Playoffs Day 7

Here’s an open thread for today’s slate of playoff hockey!

The Columbus Jackets are home with the opportunity to take a stranglehold on the series. They took the first two games on the road in overtime and the Capitals have responded by putting Braden Holtby back in net as the starter.

The Minnesota Wild announced that Zach Parise has a fractured sternum, and there’s a good chance he’s done for the rest of the playoffs. They will look to tie their series vs. the Jets.

Vegas has the opportunity to become the first team to advance to the second round as they look to finish the Los Angeles Kings at the Staples Center. Thus far the Knights have had the Kings’ number, and a victory for Vegas would be another milestone of their inaugural season.
