Rangers Announce Lineup for Preseason Opener vs Devils, Zibanejad ‘Fine’

Today, the New York Rangers tweeted out their projected lineup for the preseason opener against the New Jersey Devils.

The announcement came after a scare during Sunday’s practice that involved first-line center Mika Zibanejad, who was hit in the head in a 1-on-1 drill with defensive prospect Joey Keane.

Zibanejad is not in the projected lineup for Monday night’s opener at the Prudential Center, but head coach David Quinn said he completed all of his tests and just had the wind knocked out of him.

The Rangers will play the Devils at 7 p.m. Monday night, before returning to MSG Wednesday night to host the Philadelphia Flyers.
