2019 Eastern Conference Finals: Game 4 Open Thread

It’s Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals, and the brooms are coming out in Raleigh, North Carolina. The Boston Bruins hold a 3-0 series lead over the Carolina Hurricanes, and will look to finish off their first playoff sweep since the 2013 Eastern Conference Finals. Boston will be looking to sweep a team, (Carolina) that swept a team, (New York) that swept a team (Pittsburgh), and secure their first trip to the Stanley Cup Finals since the aforementioned 2013 season.

For their part, the Hurricanes will look to keep their Cindarella season going as long as they can. Only four teams have come back from 3-0 down to win four straight games and advance in the playoffs, but the Bruins were one of the four teams on the losing end, blowing a 3-0 series lead to the Philadelphia Flyers in 2010. Carolina has a tough hill to climb, and it starts tonight.

Puck drop is scheduled for slightly after 8:00 PM EDT. Enjoy the game.
