2019 Western Conference Final: Game 6 Open Thread
Tonight is Game 6 of the Western Conference Final, and a victory by St. Louis would result in a Stanley Cup Final berth, and the San Jose Sharks singing the blues after another season falling short of capturing Lord Stanley’s Cup.
Yes it is a simple and obvious joke, and that’s because I’m a simple man. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The Sharks lost Game 5 by a score of 5-0 on home ice this past Sunday, and that’s not the only thing they lost. Tonight the Sharks will be without top defender Erik Karlsson, Tomas Hertl, and captain Joe Pavelski will be a gametime decision.
Tomas Hertl and Erik Karlsson did not make the trip. Joe Pavelski is a gametime decision. Consider this a total guess at a Game 6 lineup.

Things look bleak, but Martin Jones has played pretty well when the Sharks have had their backs against the wall.
The Sharks are on the brink, but every time they've faced elimination this postseason, Martin Jones has come through. Will he do it again tonight? #StanleyCup pic.twitter.com/mcfKtjSZnk

If the Blues are victorious on home ice, not only will they will advance to the Cup Final for the first time since the 1969-70 season — a series which saw they get swept by the Boston Bruins — they will win their first ever conference title.
The action will get underway sometime after the posted start time of 8:00 p.m. on NBCSN, and it has the makings of being an interesting game.
