The Henrik Lundqvist Foundation Kan Jam
A unique opportunity to meet the King and to give back
The Henrik Lundqvist Foundation and its Young Ambassador program have partnered with the Jam Kancer in the Kan Foundation to stage the first Henrik Lundqvist Foundation Kan Jam tournament.
The tournament will take place on Sept. 22 — at the midway point of the New York Rangers preseason schedule. Spectator tickets to this unique event are available here. And yes, the King himself will be in attendance. This is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the much-anticipated 2019-20 season by giving back.

The tournament will be held at VERSA at the Renaissance New York Midtown Hotel at 218 West 35th Street. The event takes place between 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. ET on VERSA’s patio, overlooking Madison Square Garden itself.
All proceeds generated by Sunday’s event will be donated by the Henrik Lundqvist Foundation to its community partners the Ronald McDonald Barnfond Children’s Fund, the NY Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital, and the Garden of Dreams Foundation — all of which provide services and support to families with children living with cancer and other serious health issues.
The Henrik Lundqvist Foundation, founded in 2014 by the iconic Rangers goaltender and his wife Therese, is dedicated to improving the lives of children across the globe through education and health services. The foundation has left a lasting impression in communities in New York, Sweden, and the Dominican Republic.
