The Hartford Wolf Pack Re-Sign Two Defenders

Two AHL vets re-up for the 2020-21 season

The Hartford Wolf Pack announced today that they re-signed two veteran defensemen for next season; Mason Geertsen and Vincent LoVerde.

The @WolfPackAHL have re-signed defenders Vincent LoVerde and Mason Geertsen to AHL contracts for the 2020-21 season.

LoVerde and Geertsen were both in the first seasons for the Wolf Pack before the world hit the pause button due to COVID-19 and both defensemen were brought in to serve as veteran support for a young Hartford team, with Geertsen being the enforcer meant to protect the younger players getting their first taste of professional hockey. LoVerde served as an alternate captain for the Pack and was brought it to bolster the Hartford blue line and help bring along the younger defensemen on the squad.

The contracts are strictly for the AHL and will kick in at the start of next season.
