The Dallas Stars and Vegas Golden Knights return for Game 2 tonight with Dallas hanging onto to a 1-0 lead in the series. Marc-Andre Fleury was the surprise starting goaltender in the opening game for the Golden Knights, but they didn’t get the result head coach Pete DeBoer was hoping for.

The only goal of Game 1 came just two minutes into the first period as the Dallas Stars entered the offensive zone with a 3-on-2 rush. Jamie Benn’s initial shot was blocked in front, and landed right on the tape of John Klingberg. Marc-Andre Fleury was unable to adjust to the change in angle, and Klingberg’s lone goal held up as a game winner.

Vegas will look to bounce back tonight in Game 2, and hopefully provide more goal support up front than they did in the opening game.
