As the Rangers continue to sputter through the COVID-shortened 2020-21 campaign, they’ll meet their seventh opponent for the first time this season. David Quinn will square off against his predecessor Alain Vigneault, and Quinn’s Rangers will look to take the early lead against Vigneault’s Flyers in the season series.

The Flyers dominated the season series last year, winning all three contests and outscoring the Rangers by a 15-6 margin before the fourth game was canceled along with the rest of the regular season. These two teams were scheduled to play each other for the first time this past Sunday, but the game was postponed due to COVID issues among the Flyers.

Player to Watch: Artemiy Panarin

After missing a pair of games, Panarin will return to New York’s lineup tonight. As the team’s top scoring winger, Panarin’s presence in the lineup is always felt. Look for him to get back in the swing of things, and help the Rangers start scoring goals again.
