Game #43: New Jersey Devils vs New York Rangers Open Thread

After defeating the New Jersey Devils two nights ago, the Rangers and their Hudson River rivals will square off for the second four consecutive times. David Quinn’s squad will look to build on the momentum they generated with their 3-0 shutout at Prudential Center on Tuesday. With the Bruins also winning on Tuesday night, the Rangers still find themselves four points back of the fourth and final playoff spot in the MassMutual East Division. Igor Shesterkin will start in goal once again, while recently signed Zac Jones will watch tonight’s action from the press box.

Player to Watch: Artemiy Panarin

With a goal against the Devils two nights ago, Panarin notched his 138th point in his 100th game as a Ranger. That point broke a tie with Mark Messier for the most points by any player in their first 100 games on Broadway. I’m really going out on a limb here, but look for Panarin to have another strong effort tonight.

Enjoy the game!
