GIF: Anthony Duclair scores a highlight reel goal for Team Canada

Hockey in August? Don't mind if I do.

He's not going to play in the NHL this upcoming season, but there's not much to dislike about Anthony Duclair. The 18-year-old forward has been tearing up the QMJHL, showing off his pure goal-scoring ability, and nose for the net.

So it was no surprise that Duclair was part of the group of players Canada selected to bring to its national junior championship camp for evaluation. And Tuesday night, playing in a scrimmage against the Czech Republic, Duclair showed Hockey Canada's brass—and everyone for that matter—what he's capable of.

This is what has the Rangers organization so excited about Duclair. The team has been lacking this kind of dynamic, offensive talent for quite some time. What Duclair can do with the puck, and how he scores his goals, is precisely what the organization has been trying to find.

At this point, there's probably not much of a case against Duclair participating on Canada's national junior team.
