With the trade deadline less than 36 hours away, the time for Jeff Gorton’s test is drawing nigh. With Kevin Shattenkirk coming to New York tonight, the Rangers’ general manager will have to get creative if he wants to shore up his team’s depth in an attempt at a lengthy playoff run.
