Bantering the Blueshirts Ep. 154: Joe is back and Hayes got overpaid
This week on Bantering the Blueshirts, Joe makes his long-awaited return from paternity leave! Naturally, we talk about him defending his homestead from baby-snatching coyotes, but we also find some time to discuss some hockey in a megashow — which is where we simply combine our flagship show and Off the Post into a longer episode. Why? Well, because it’s the middle of August; it’s tumbleweed time.
On this week’s show we discuss Kevin Hayes signing with the Philadelphia Flyers because they overpaid, What Brendan Lemieux’s dad had to say about the contract negotiations between his son and the Rangers, where Jacob Trouba ranked among the NHL’s top defenseman according to the NHL Network, and what a few publications think about the Rangers’ prospect pool.
Because this is a megashow, we also got to some of your questions!
Newest podcast! The second MEGASHOW of the summer. I return and @DigDeepBSB and I bicker about slapping hogs, ocean boars, why the hell isn't Lemieux signed, what's the deal with DeAngelo, some late Shattenkirk buyout stuff, QA, and more! https://t.co/jUoskW1B6S— Joe Fortunato (@JoeFortunatoBSB) August 20, 2019
