Blueshirt Bandwidth #104: Another Opening-Night Shutout. Time to Panic?
Shut out on opening night again. Eric, Chip, and Joe explain why one game against Boston isn't a trend—yet.
Episode 104 of Blueshirt Bandwidth is the Braden Schneider Episode—fitting after JJ Peterka undressed him in Boston—and with Joe suddenly called away, Eric and Chip take the wheel until he crashes the show late. They dig into another opening-night shutout and why one game against a good Bruins team isn't a trend yet, how the shortened preseason left little room for real roster battles, and why Alberts Smits deserves a better partner than Schneider. They also go another round on Dylan Garand clearing waivers and Joonas Korpisalo winning the backup job, Scott Morrow's spot in no-man's-land, why Chris Drury needs to stop trading with Carolina, and Kirill Marchenko vs. Matthew Knies. Plus: Detroit's dysfunction, Vladimir Tarasenko still unsigned, and a firm ruling against suit shorts. Give it a listen!
