Blueshirt Bandwidth #105: A Whole New Vibe for the Rangers
Matthew Robertson cleared waivers, and Chris Drury got away with it again. Plus, is it time to move J.T. Miller off PP1?
Episode 105 of Blueshirt Bandwidth is the Dan Girardi Episode—and with Eric out, Joe and Chip record during the Rangers' win over the Islanders, reacting live as Alexis Lafrenière completes his hat trick. They dig into Matthew Robertson clearing waivers and Chris Drury's surprisingly strong waiver track record, what happens with Dylan Garand once Joonas Korpisalo is healthy, and Igor Shesterkin's goal (and Joe's pain at missing it in person). They also cover Cole Beaudoin's debut and a big, nasty new fourth line, Alberts Smits playing well beyond his years, the Rangers as the NHL's youngest team, Mika Zibanejad's resurgence, and whether it's time to move J.T. Miller off the top power play. Plus: Sean Durzi vs. Vincent Trocheck, what ownership really wants from this team, and the song that would break Chip. Give it a listen!
