The New York Rangers have had some of the best goalies in the NHL since their establishment in 1926. During their long tenure, the Blueshirts have had six different goaltenders win the Vezina Trophy. Goaltending has been a historical strength of the Rangers, from Eddie Giacomin dominating in between the pipes during the 60s and 70s to Henrik Lundqvist leading the team to their last Stanley Cup appearance.
