The New York Rangers start the first of four games on the west coast against the Calgary Flames. Both teams have struggled early to start the season, with the Flames only winning one game thus far. The Rangers will look to bounce back after an overtime loss to the San Jose Sharks.

Following suffering an upper-body injury in a fight with Ryan Reaves, Matt Rempe will not travel with the team, and in turn, Brennan Othmann has been called up from the Hartford Wolf Pack. Othmann will be slotted onto the third line with Will Cuylle and Noah Laba. Taylor Raddysh has been rewarded for his hat trick in Thursday's game by being moved into the top six on a line with Artemi Panarin and J.T. Miller.

Player to Watch: Brennan Othmann

With Othmann making his way into the lineup, it will be hard not to keep an eye on him. Through 25 games over two seasons in the NHL, he is still looking for his first goal and has only come away with two assists. In the first four games for the Wolf Pack, Othmann has come away with one assist.

It was not that long ago when the report came out that the former first-round pick was garnering trade interest. After a disappointing preseason and training camp, this could very well be Othmann's last shot with the Rangers.

Enjoy the game!
