It's New York Rangers game day once again as the west coast tour continues for the team. The struggles for the Blueshirts continue as they have won one of their last seven games. The Vancouver Canucks enter tonight with a 5-5 record as they seek their sixth win.
One game after being recalled, Brennan Othmann is out of the lineup for Jonny Brodzinski. Also, Carson Soucy is moving up to a pair with Will Borgen, while Urho Vaakanainen is slotting into the third pair. Matthew Robertson will watch tonight's game from the press box. After playing on the third line in Calgary, Will Cuylle will head back into the top six on a line with Mika Zibanejad and Artemi Panarin.

Player to Watch: J.T. Miller
The Rangers' captain is making his return to Vancouver for the first time since being traded back to New York City. Miller spent five full seasons with the Canucks and played 40 games for them during the 2024-25 season. Over his tenure with the Canucks, Miller netted 152 goals, 285 assists, and 437 points, making him over a point-per-game player.
While we know the player Miller can be, he has struggled early to start the season. So far, he only has two goals and four assists, as he appears to still be dealing with the lower-body injury he suffered in training camp. We know Miller plays with a lot of emotion, and it will be something to keep an eye on.
Enjoy the game!
