The Rangers have now won three in a row thanks to yesterday's victory against the Boston Bruins. While all seems to be heading in the right direction, the Blueshirts do play at Madison Square Garden, where they have struggled this season. Since losing to the Rangers earlier this month, the Tampa Bay Lightning have won seven of their eight games.
Head coach Mike Sullivan has stated that Igor Shesterkin will once again get the start in net after making 19 saves in the team's victory yesterday. Will Borgen has come off of injured reserve and is a game-time decision. The Lightning are still without a handful of players, including Victor Hedman, Brayden Point, and former Ranger Ryan McDonagh.
Player to Watch: Adam Fox
During the Rangers' last five games, Adam Fox has reminded everyone how talented he is by recording nine assists. By watching the Rangers play and looking at the underlying metrics, there is absolutely no denying he has been one of the best defensemen in hockey.
Adam Fox this season:

- 25 points (2nd among defenseman)
- 22 assists (1st among defenseman)
- on pace for 80 points with elite metrics
Has more points this season than Sidney Crosby, Cole Caufield, Sebastian Aho, Tim Stutzle, Zach Werenski, Quinn Hughes, Sam Reinhart, Tage… pic.twitter.com/nUlbHx9hAl
Fox has the second most points of any defenseman and is tied with Cale Makar for the most assists. Not only have we seen him perform offensively, but he has also taken the defensive aspect of his game to a new level.
Enjoy the game!
