Game 3 Open Thread: Canadiens at Rangers

The Rangers will look to rebound tonight after a shocking loss in Game 2.

Tonight marks Game 3 of this series, and the New York Rangers will look to rebound at Madison Square Garden following a shocking loss in Game 2. The Rangers were 17 seconds away from making this a 2-0 series, until Tomas Plekanec and Alexander Radulov stole the show and evened up the series at 1-1. Obviously going for the split on the road is what most teams aim for, but the Rangers had an opportunity to put a stranglehold on Montreal, and they threw it all away.

Marc Staal and Nick Holden both had games to forget during Game 2, so it will be interesting to see if Alain Vigneault makes any adjustments tonight. He certainly wasn't revealing his changes, if any, during the morning skate as he declined to comment on the matter. If the past is any indication though, Vigneault usually likes to sneak in his changes during warmups for the element of surprise.

Puck drop is scheduled for a little after 7:00 PM tonight.
