The New York Rangers are back at Madison Square Garden following a road win against the Detroit Red Wings. The Rangers enter tonight's game with a record of 2-1, while their opponent, the Utah Mammoth, is undefeated with a record of 2-0. This game will mark a return for Vincent Trocheck and the first time Sean Durzi faces his former team.
Expect the Blueshirts to deploy similar lines as they have their first three games with the only skater change being between Matt Rempe and Jaroslav Chmelar on the fourth line. Igor Shesterkin will protect the net after watching Dylan Garand get his first shut out in Detroit.
Where to Watch
Cable/Network TV: MSG Network, NHL website, NHL app, and DAZN
National Broadcast: ESPN+
Radio: 880 AM
Player to Watch: Sean Durzi
As mentioned above, Durzi will meet his former team for the first time as a member of the Rangers. Durzi was the main return in the deal that sent Trocheck to the Mammoth. So far, the return has been exactly what the Rangers could have hoped for.
Repairing the blue line was a must for general manager Chris Drury, and Durzi could be a big reason this retool works. Durzi scored the game winner in Detroit and will look to make an impact once again tonight.
Enjoy the game!
