It can't get much worse than the New York Rangers' last outing in their loss against the Boston Bruins, but tonight presents an opportunity to write some of their wrongs. The Rangers are set to take on the Seattle Kraken, who sit in fourth place in the Pacific Division, for the second time this season. The Blueshirts took the first game thanks to an overtime goal from Will Cuylle.

The Rangers have made some changes to their lineup following the loss in Boston. Alexis Lafrenière has been demoted to the third line, while Gabe Perreault has been moved up to the second line with J.T. Miller and Vincent Trocheck. Brennan Othmann, who has been recalled from the Hartford Wolf Pack, draws into the third line. It also looks like Matt Rempe will be watching from the press box tonight.

Where to Watch

Cable/Network TV: MSG 2, NHL website, NHL app, and the Gotham Sports app

National Broadcast: ESPN+

Radio: 880 AM

Player to Watch: Brennan Othmann

Brennan Othmann has once again been recalled from the Wolf Pack and slots back into the lineup for the first time since December 27th. In a four-game stretch in Hartford, he has as many points and has been one of the team's better players. With Othmann on the third line, especially with a puck distributor like Lafrenière, it may open up chances for him to shoot the puck.

Each time Brennan Othmann gets called up, it can very well be his last chance to make it with the Rangers organization. Once one of New York's top prospects continues to look like a bad pick, a positive stint may be able to recoup some value if the team is interested in trading him.

Enjoy the game!
