Another home game, another opportunity for the New York Rangers to score their first goal at Madison Square Garden. Despite playing a strong game against the Washington Capitals on Sunday, the Blueshirts were unable to come away with the win and will look to bounce back tonight against the Edmonton Oilers. The Oilers come into tonight's game with a record of 1-0-1 as they look to put together their second consecutive win.

The Rangers will be rolling out the same lines as they did against the Capitals, with the only change being the man in between the pipes. Igor Shesterkin is in net for the team tonight and will look to continue his impressive start to the season.

Player to Watch: Conor Sheary

Conor Sheary was definitely one of the more intriguing storylines throughout Rangers training camp. Sheary spent most of camp on a professional tryout, and three games into the season, he moved into the top six. Thus far, Sheary has played well in that role on a line with J.T. Miller and Will Cuylle.

While the offensive production may not be there, Sheary has been a valuable defensive presence on the ice for the Rangers and came up with a huge save against the Washington Capitals Sunday. If Sheary is able to keep up this level of play until Vincent Trocheck returns to the lineup, that will help keep the Blueshirts competitive.

Enjoy the game!
