It's the second to last game before the 2026 Milan Olympics, and the Rangers could really use a win after losing twice in a row to the New York Islanders. For the third time this season, head coach Mike Sullivan will take on his former team after splitting the first two.
Artemi Panarin continues to be held out of the line up with a trade being a possibility in the near future. For the Pengiuns, Evegni Malkin and Kris Letang have both been dealing with injuries and are considered a game time decision.
Where to Watch
Cable/Network TV: ABC
National Broadcast: ESPN+
Radio: 880 AM
Player to Watch: Will Cuylle
Will Cuylle continues to get top-six opportunities with Panarin out of the lineup. Cuylle, who broke out onto the scene last season, has not been the same player and is on track to come in below his point total from a year ago. While many hoped he would continue to grow, that has not been the case.
Despite the disappointing season, that does not mean everyone needs to have the panic button. Progression isn't always lateral, and Cuylle is only 23 years old. As the season progresses, hopefully he can find some of his lost offensive production and continue to be the tough 200-foot player he is capable of.
Enjoy the game!
