The New York Rangers' road trip continues as they travel to the city of brotherly love to take on the Philadelphia Flyers. The Rangers dropped their last game against the New Jersey Devils as their rough season continues. The Flyers have won four of their last six, including their most recent game against the Pittsburgh Penguins. While the game doesn't hold much weight for the Blueshirts, the Flyers are just outside of the playoff picture in a tight Eastern Conference.
Since their last game, Brendan Brisson has been recalled from the Hartford Wolf Pack, with Taylor Raddysh set to miss the next two games to attend his father's funeral. Brisson will likely be the extra forward, with Jonny Brodzinski set to take Raddysh's spot on the second line. Vincent Iorio will also be watching from the press box with Urho Vaakanainen drawing into the lineup. Flyers forward Travis Konecny will be a game-time decision as he is dealing with a lower-body injury.

Player to Watch: Alexis Lafrenière
Since Artemi Panarin was dealt to the Los Angeles Kings, Alexis Lafrenière has stepped up as the team looks to fill the void left by the Breadman. In the five games, Lafrenière has as many points and has asserted himself more while on the ice. He has primarily played with Mika Zibanejad and Gabe Perreault, a line that has found success while on the ice together.

Lafrenière has been subject to criticism this season, as many hoped he would have a bounce-back season. While it is safe to say he will not be able to live up to the first overall pedigree that has followed him his whole career, Lafrenière still has the tools to be a productive player in the NHL. As the Rangers enter their retool, general manager Chris Drury will have to decide if Lafrenière is part of his long-term plan.
Enjoy the game!
