After a disappointing loss to the New Jersey Devils at home, the New York Rangers are packing their bags and heading to Columbus. The Blue Jackets have earned points in each of their last 10 games, including six wins. A win for the Blue Jackets will go a long way as the team currently sits just outside the playoffs in the Eastern Conference.

After getting injured against the Devils, Noah Laba and Urho Vaakanainen did not make the trip to Columbus. As a result, Connor Mackey has been recalled from the Hartford Wolf Pack. Mackey will likely step into the bottom pair since Vincent Iorio was an extra skater this morning. Igor Shesterkin will get the start in net after watching last night from the bench. The Blue Jackets will likely have the same lines as their previous game, with Jet Greaves between the pipes.

Player to Watch: Will Cuylle

After breaking out a season ago, it hasn't been a pretty season for Will Cuylle, who is on pace to finish with fewer points than he did last year. While he was primarily a third-liner last season, he has found himself in a top-six role this season. The Rangers have seen a strong youth movement of late, but Cuylle has gone without a point in his last six games.

Even though this season hasn't been what many hoped for from Cuylle, progression is not always linear, and he is not the only player having a down season. As the final games play out, hopefully Cuylle will find his footing, as he is still only 24 and under contract for another season at under $4 million.

Enjoy the game!
