Coming off an impressive win over the Chicago Blackhawks, the Rangers remain at Madison Square Garden and will take on the Florida Panthers. The Panthers are coming off a victory against the New York Islanders. Including today’s game, the Blueshirts have nine games remaining in the 2025-26 season.
After missing a few games, Noah Laba will return to the lineup and will center the fourth line. Juuso Parsaninen has been assigned to the Hartford Wolf Pack. Last year’s Conn Smyth winner Sam Bennet did not play against the Islanders and could miss today’s game as well.

Player to Watch: Mika Zibanejad
Four more points this season from Mika Zibanejad would be his highest since the 2022-23 season. His bounce-back season may be overshadowed by the poor result of the team, but this has value in the long term.
Zibanejad is under contract until 2030 and has publicly said he will not waive his no-movement clause. Knowing that he has not continued to regress could allow the team to pull off this retool.
