It's the final chance for the Rangers to grab a win in the Hudson River rivalry after losing their first two games against the New Jersey Devils. The Rangers have won back-to-back home games, most recently taking down the Florida Panthers. The Devils are also coming off a win against the Chicago Blackhawks.

The Rangers will use the same lineup as they did against the Panthers, which includes six rookies. Urho Vaakanainen has returned to practice but is in a non-contact jersey and will not play tonight. Igor Shesterkin will once again get the start with Dylan Garand set to back him up. For the Devils, Jacob Marksrom will be between the pipes.

Where to Watch

Cable/Network TV: MSG 2, NHL website, NHL app, and the Gotham Sports app

National Broadcast: ESPN+

Radio: 880 AM

Player to Watch: Jaroslav Chmelar

Jaroslav Chmelar is one of the six rookies dressing for the Rangers against the Devils as the Rangers continue to infuse youth into the lineup. In 20 games, the young forward has only three points but has more importantly played a strong and consistent defensive game.

Chmelar has shown flashes offensively, which could make him an ideal candidate for the third line next year. While Noah Laba and Tye Kartye are the early favorites for the third line, who their final line mate will be has drawn speculation.
