After one day off, New York Rangers hockey is back as they take on the Tampa Bay Lightning for the second time this season. The Rangers got the better of the Lightning in the first game, but Tampa Bay has won all four of their games since. The Rangers are coming off a 6-1 win over the Vancouver Canucks and will look to make it two wins in a row.
The Rangers' only lineup change is Matt Rempe drawing into the lineup for Jaroslav Chmelar. Rempe hasn't played since the opening night loss against the Boston Bruins. Pavel Dorofeyev returns to the first power play unit after Gabe Perreault got some time against the Canucks. Dylan Garand will start between the pipes for the Rangers, with Andrei Vasilevskiy starting for the Lightning.

Where to Watch
Cable/Network TV: MSG Network, NHL website, NHL app, and DAZN
National Broadcast: ESPN+
Radio: 880 AM
Player to Watch: Tye Kartye
Tye Kartye is coming off a two-goal performance against the Canucks and has made the most of his promotion to the second line. Kartye has brought in off waivers and has been a great buy-low move by general manager Chris Drury.

Kartye is by no means a long-term option for the top six but does not look out of place. The Rangers are going against a strong Lightning team and are going to count on Kartye to match up physically.
Enjoy the game!
