Game Thread 2/28: Rangers vs Capitals
The Rangers look to get back to their winning ways at the Garden.
Yes, there is a game tonight. After making two trades the Rangers will host the Washington Capitals at the Garden in a game that holds special significance because of the big deal that the Capitals made last night. The Rangers will see Kevin Shattenkirk in a Capitals' road jersey tonight.

Steven Kampfer was called up and could be in the lineup for the Rangers tonight with Dan Girardi out. It's uncertain whether or not Kevin Klein will play. Jim Cerny reported that he was on the ice for today's morning skate. Expect Adam Clendening to play a much larger role than he has been lately.
Brendan Smith, the newest Ranger, will not be in the lineup tonight. But we do know that Smith will wear number 42 with the Blueshirts.
Henrik Lundqvist will be looking to bounce back after his first "bad game" in awhile in the Rangers' 5-2 loss to the Blue Jackets. He'll have his work cut out for him.
